How’s this event different than a blog conference?

Blog conferences usually involve lots of workshops, breakouts and activities. It leaves you with a head of knowledge and very little time to implement. This event is different.

The heart and soul of this event is to take a small group of bloggers (30) and give them a chance to get away from the distractions of regular life so they can blog full throttle.

Come for a weekend working on your most important projects, getting stuff done and geek out with other bloggers who “get it”! Plus, being individually encouraged and helped by Kim!

The Details

Where:

Belmont, North Carolina

(8 miles from Charlotte-Douglass International Airport)

Arrival:

Edited: We will begin doing on one-on-one sessions for anyone who arrives early on Thursday starting at noon (so feel free to arrive on Wednesday night or Thursday morning if you want an extra day to work).

We still plan to begin Friday morning promptly at 8:00 AM in our conference space at the Hampton Inn Belmont. We usually do a group dinner and networking time on Thursday night.

Departure:

The event will officially end on Saturday evening at 8 pm.

Most attendees checkout Sunday.

Travel:

The closest airport is Charlotte Douglass International Airport in Charlotte, NC.

This retreat hotel is 8 miles from Charlotte Douglass International Airport.

Uber, Lyft, Taxi’s and Rental Cars are available for transportation.

(Many attendees get together in the retreat Facebook group to arrange ride and room shares.)

Hotel:

Attendees will need to make their own hotel and travel arrangements.

Event will take place at the Hampton Inn Charlotte-Belmont @ Montcross.

Retreat Block Rates are $122.00 before tax for double queens and single king rooms.

There will be a list of attendees seeking roommates and airport rideshare for the event inside the Facebook Group.

What to expect:

2 days and 3 nights of being able to work on your blog in a fun and supportive environment with as small group of other bloggers. Kim will be available to offer one-on-one brainstorming, assistance and hands on help both days.

Co-Mentor(s) will also be helping in their areas of expertise.

Expect to have opportunities during breaks, meals and afterhours to network with other attendees!

What about food?

Breakfast is provided for hotel guests.

Dinner will be on your own.

Kim will provide hot & iced coffee, water, tea and snacks throughout the day

as well as lunch on Friday & Saturday.

Refund Policy:

No Refunds- Tickets may be sold/transferred to another attendee or used toward a future retreat registration.
