How’s this event different than a blog conference?

Blog conferences usually involve lots of workshops, breakouts and activities. It leaves you with a head of knowledge and very little time to implement. This event is different.

The heart and soul of this event is to take a small group of bloggers (30) and give them a chance to get away from the distractions of regular life so they can blog full throttle. Come for a weekend working on your most important projects, getting stuff done and geek out with other bloggers who “get it”! Plus, being individually coached helped by Kim, Grayson and Cressel.

Kim is a traditionally published author, blogger, podcaster and coach.

Nicknamed the Blogging Shrink, Kim works with bloggers every day to help them focus, plan and understand so they can make forward progress toward their blogging goals.

Grayson is the owner of iMark Interactive, which is a full service online business supporting other online ventures. He offers WordPress blog management, freelancing, writing, and custom web services for a large number of industries.

(AKA) That guy that helps bloggers not break down and ugly cry every time they have a technical problem with their blog.

Cressel Anderson

YouTube, SEO & Analytics Expert

Cressel has been steadily growing a thriving niche YouTube brand and following for the past four years. He’s ready to share his video creation tips, analytics navigation, tricks and expertise to help you expand your own content into video!

Blythe Daniel

Literary Agent

Blythe Daniel is a literary agent and marketing expert with 20 plus years of experience in publishing. She has represented authors with churches, parachurch organizations, and businesses. She has booked authors on hundreds of media outlets. Blythe has worked in radio and was a publicist for music artists. She was the Publicity Director and Marketing Director for Thomas Nelson Publishers (HarperCollins Christian Publishing) before developing products for Ransomed Heart Ministries (John and Stasi Eldredge). She started her agency in 2005 and is a member of CBA and AWSA. She has written for Christian Retailing and Focus on the Family publications, and she links hundreds of bloggers with millions of readers through BlogAbout. Her passion is helping authors share their unique stories. Arrival:

Attendee’s should plan on arriving Thursday as the even starts at noon.

Departure:

The event will officially end on Saturday evening at 8 pm but we are extending it through Sunday at noon for those who want extra time to work!

Most attendees checkout Sunday.

Travel:

The closest airport is Colorado Springs Airport.

This retreat hotel is 8 miles from airport.

Uber, Lyft, Taxi’s and Rental Cars are available for transportation.

(Many attendees get together in the retreat Facebook group to arrange ride and room shares.)

Hotel:

Attendees will need to make their own hotel and travel arrangements.

Retreat Block Rates are $169 double queens and $159 king rooms before tax.

There will be a list of attendees seeking roommates and airport ride share for the event inside the Facebook Group.

What to expect:

2.5 days and 3 nights of being able to work on your blog in a fun and supportive environment with 30 other bloggers. Kim will be available to offer one-on-one brainstorming, assistance and hands on help both days.

Co-Mentor(s) will also be helping in their areas of expertise.

Expect to have opportunities during breaks, meals and after hours to network with other attendees!

What about food?

Breakfast is provided for hotel guests.

Dinner will be on your own.

Kim will provide hot & iced coffee, water, tea and snacks throughout the day

as well as lunch on Friday & Saturday.

Refund Policy: No Refunds- Tickets may be sold/transferred to another attendee or used toward the ticket price of a future retreat.
